Server will not boot, but turns on. Also, Server Drives not lighting up
This morning, one of our older servers went down. The server first rebooted. After reboot, the server went down again and never came back up. The "Internal Error" light is flashing red. The server drives have no light activity.
Logging into iLO, the logs don't really tell much. I tried to unseat memory, battery, and move maintenance mode pin #6 on, but nothing. I still have no lights on the drives and the internal error message is still flashing red. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Could it be the raid card or motherboard?
The server is a ProLiant 380 G5. I need to get this back up and running.

Re: Server will not boot, but turns on. Also, Server Drives not lighting up
Hi,
Switch OFF the server and Reseat all hard drives into its own slot.
If its a PCI Raid Card then reseat the card into its own slot or different slot if available and compatible.
Reseat the hard drive cables which connects between the controller and hard drive backplane.
If still no leds on the drives, then I guess the issue could be with hard drive backplane or cables.
