Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) Version 2016.10.0

Hello,

I was preparing for patching based on the asumption that new SPP will be released begining of October. 
Today is October 11th, and still no new version is anounced. 
Does anyone know if HP TS are planning to release new version in the near future?

I have heard it will be released in october, this does not mean at the beginning of the month...

It will be releasing soon. it contains HP Synergy software too and there was some issue and fixing soon. it will be released soon. its 6.4GB btw

Our Hyper-V CSVs are running on StoreVirtual appliances and therefore the migration of our infrastrucutre also depends on StoreVirtual compatibility. When will HPE release a new MPIO for DSM driver or at least confirm that the existing driver is compatible with Windows Server 2016?

Do you have any news regarding the update?

We updated one of our HP ProLiant DL380 Gen8 server to Windows Server 2016 and waiting for the corresponding drivers. Exept the GPU and and a Base System Device, everything is recognized.

I downloaded the SPP 2016.10 today, looks like server 2016 is  included.

But we have to wait for the documentation.

Consider to run HPSUM.

Thank you for the information, unfortunately nothing new about DSM for MPIO (Neither an OK to use the existing driver nor an updated version) and therefore we still have to wait before we can upgrade to Server 2016 :(

DSM/MPIO was never part of SPP I think.

Yes, in deed and I didn't expect that this would be different with SPP 2016.10.

But I need this driver to be able to upgrade our Hyper-V Fabric - of course it doesn't matter if the servers will be upgraded this month or even this year but I have the licenses and therefore I want to upgrade asap :) Maybe I will test with our backupserver to check if the existing driver is working with Server 2016 but a official statement would be better.

Honestly I'm looking forward to exchange our StoreVirtual appliances some years in the future to use storage spaces for several reasons but also to be independent from the DSM for MPIO driver after a new Windows Server release.
