Shut down by itself

It goes down by itself, seems the one job is running but not responding and at the little screen appear the following message
ASR Reset.
At this moment somene from Compaq is coming, but in the future we could like to know where to go and check or what is wrong.

you need to try disabling the ASR in the bios..then the errors will occur and show up on the screen and you can then determine what they are and deal with them..once the problem is solved re-enable asr
