Silence internal Fans ?
Hi Forum,
does anybody can give me a hint how to silence the cpu fans in my ML370 box. From Installing WinNT 4.0 i learned that they can get much more silent if the OS is installed.
greets from germany

Re: Silence internal Fans ?
The problem with controlling the fans on the ProLiant ML370 is addressed, in other operating systems, with a driver that would load during the boot sequence. For this operating system, your best idea at this time would be to load the Health and Wellness Driver, which is available to you from the following link. http://www.compaq.com/support/files/server/us/download/10971.html
Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that this will address the problem for you. You may find that it does, or does not. Another resource for you is to call 1-800-OK-COMPAQ and connect with the newly configured Linus Support Team. For software issues with your operating system, this will be a good resource.
