SLOT #2
Dear Sir
When i enter the BIOS, i got a error message
"Slot #2
An error occurred while identifying attached SCSI devices. Likely consemay be two devices set to the same ID or an improperly terminated bus. check you scsi IS jumpers on all devices to ensure that easch has a unique ID, and that the bus is properly terminated."
my CR3500 ID is ID 6 and ID 7. i try to reinstall my NT server use smart startup version 4.90 but problem still and i check all ID is unique. Do i need to change the hardware jumper ?where can i find the jumper ?
Thank's
Michael from hong kong

Re: SLOT #2
What you are seeing is normal -- until the SCU has written info to the NVRAM -- the SymBios logic chipset is unable to negotiate info with the CR3500.
You will only see this on a server with no SCU/NVRAM configured
If you see this at any other time -- plse call us at 1-800-652-6672 -- ask to speak to the cluster team
