Smart Array 5300 is not recognized

IS there anybody who can give me best advice why SA5300 is not recognized by system. It is just PCI Card instead.

Defective array controller or PCI slot.

What answer did you expect asking such question?
Did you check your controller in other server? Did you check your server?
You just forgot to write what machine do you have...
Here is compatibility matrix (for new hp servers):

Maybe BIOS in your server is to old to support such controller?
