Smart Array 6400 controller firmware upgrade

Planning to upgrade firmware on DL 380G3 from existing version (5.60.0.32) to the latest version (2.76A). Are there any precautionary measures other than backup that I need to take in order to upgrade it. Since, several mission critical applications are running, I would like to have some insight before I schedule the change.

i have over 435 of this model and never had anything when upgrading firmware version( And i did it from HP SIM deploy),if there is a probleme you will to boot from USB disk or disquet,to re apply the firmware version.
