Smart Array 6402/128 need help!
Hello pleople... i have a sever ML 350G4p with a Smart Array controller 6402 RAID 5... and i need to change it for a 641 smart array controller... it will work without break the raid 5 if i made the change of this controller?

Hi Pastor,
There should not be any issues in swapping the controller.
Ensure that the Smart Array controller drivers are latest:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/24794.html
Turn off the server, swap the controller and restart the server. It should detect the Raid 5 and will give you a message to load the RIS from the Harddisk to controller, select the option and server should be up and running fine.
