Smart Array 641 Controller Accelerator failed
on my ProLiant ML350 G4p I replaced the old battery by a new one.
But allready the status ist Temp disabled.
Drive Array Accelerator Status Change. The array accelerator board attached to the array controller in Slot 3 has a new status of 4.
(Accelerator status values: 1=other, 2=notConfigured, 3=enabled, 4=tmpDisabled, 5=permDisabled)
What can I do?

Re: Smart Array 641 Controller Accelerator failed
replacing the battery it takes a while to recharge it.
While the battery is low on charge, it temporarily disables array accelerator.
Wait until the battery is fully charged.
you can view detailed info in ACU about it.
HTH Bye!

Re: Smart Array 641 Controller Accelerator failed
HTH, thanks.
try googling:
+263 "The current array controller has one or more array" accelerator
there is some result about smart arrays that needs a firmware upgrade...
remember: first upgrade DRIVERS (better with PSP), then firmwares.
HTH bye!

Re: Smart Array 641 Controller Accelerator failed
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00300504/c00300504.pdf
but, just for clear: it's not enough self-explanatory the ACU message:
# 263 The current array controller has one or more array accelerator
batteries that are failed. Array accelerator operations such as
Expansion, Extension, and Migration are temporarily suspended until
the batteries are replaced. Please consult the user guide to identify
and replace the failed batteries.
???

Re: Smart Array 641 Controller Accelerator failed
make sure firmware is update to 2.84 and if it doesnt charge after that it will be the cache module that is not working as this charges the battery, you will have to order
