smartstart 7.10 cann't create disk partition
I boot the ML 350 g4 server from smartstart CD, it discover the all disks, and the boot conroller is detemined.
I choose all the options,at the create partition it take more time and didn't finish the job.
if i start from windows cd, it can partition the disk and format it, then copy the windows files, then restart and start from c and while installing windows then appear a message ( windows was unable to save all the data for the file c:\windows\system32\configsysevent.evt the data has been lost, this error may be caused by a failer your computer hardware ......
P.S. This thread has been moved from Disk to ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL). - Hp Forum Moderator

Re: smartstart 7.10 cann't create disk partition
Hi,
In this scenario, I would perform Insight Diagnostics and Array Diagnostics from the same smart start CD.
Do check for any disk errors.
Thank You!
