SmartStart Error Code 59
Hello All. Today we loaded an ML370 using SmartStart 5.10. We have the 5300 Array Controller. Used the assisted method with no problems, but didn't completely load the NT OS. Then was asked to erase and reconfigure from scratch. Our system is dual processor with 783 MB RAM. After using the system erase utility we are in a loop. Constantly receive error code 59 after configuring the array in a different manner (Using Advanced Data Guarding vice Raid 5 with Hot Spare). System process acks normally, but after clicking on finish in the ACU the system reboots with Error Code 59, "Click any key to erase the system utlity..." Read other posting may need to remove some memory and try again? Thanks for help.

Re: SmartStart Error Code 59
All;
Called the tech support desk and the problem is resolved. Fix action was to use the ROM based setup utlity to set the Boot controller order, OS, and system devices. After saving and rebooting, Smartstart started working correctly again.
Thanks
Bob
