SmartStart Scipt CD shows _OEM_ folder instead of $OEM$
I have created a SmartStart scripting CD, but when it is burned to CD (using Nero 6) the $OEM$ folders appear as _OEM_ so the install fails because it cannot find the files.
Is it the system configuration?? Keyboard.sys config?? CD copy software??

Re: SmartStart Scipt CD shows _OEM_ folder instead of $OEM$
Hi Martin,
it is how you create the CD. A "$" is not an allowed character on an normal ISO CD, you need to use Joliet.
There is an option in Nero to write additional Joliet information on an ISO CD. This would show you the "$" under Windows. If you boot to DOS, however, you'll still see "_" and not "$".
I have not found the correct settings in Nero so I use Roxio Easy CD Creator and choose "Joliet" when I create my unattended setup CDs. Works fine.
Cheers
Juha
