SNMP Sensor Probleme bei DL380 Gen10 SNMP HPE ProLiant Physikalischer Datenträger mit PRT
Hallo,

Vielen Dank

SNMP Sensor Issues on DL380 Gen10 SNMP HPE ProLiant Physical Disk with PRT
Hello,
Since January 3rd, 2024, I have had problems reading the hard drive status of the RAID controller hard drives via SNMP on some of our DL380 Gen10 servers.
The controller and the ILO deliver the information correctly but no data can be retrieved via SNMP.
We use PRTG for monitoring.
Here is the result of the SNMP tester:

According to PRTG support, it's supposed to be HP's fault and that's where the error can be found.
We can record ALL other sensors that can be accessed via SNMP, only the RAID HDDs no longer return any values.
I'm asking you for help, we've already ruled out everything we could think of. Firewall local and external, drivers, firmware, SNMP settings etc. .
Thank you
Thomas

All other SNMP information can be queried without any problems and was still working at the end of 2023.
But thank you very much for the tip, I will at least update the controller if I find an update.

Re: SNMP Sensor Probleme bei DL380 Gen10 SNMP HPE ProLiant Physikalischer Datenträger mit
Hello
We have the same problem on all HPE server which we upgraded to ILO > 3.00
This updates breaks SNMP and therefore PRTG can no longer display any SNMP data from the ILO inteface regardings discs or logical drives.
I just tried 3.04 but the problem still exists.
Funfact: SNMP HPE ProLiant Systemstatus still works!

Hello
The problem you ran into was solved in 3.02.
Here is a similar topic:
https://community.hpe.com/t5/proliant-servers-ml-dl-sl/proliant-microserver-gen10-plus-zabbix-snmp-issue/m-p/7208245#M185771
But it seems with 3.04 there are some problems again which I was not able to verify yet.
Cheers
