HI all
I got this W2k Server runing on a ML570 wit a Notes Server on it.
Recently the SNMP Service starts to crash.

EVENT ID 1024

Component: Compaq NIC SNMP Management Agent Error: The SNMP Insight Agent is unable to genereate traps due to an error during initialization. Cause: Check to ensure that the SNMP service is running. Reinstalling the agents may fix this error.

Already tryed to reinstall >> didn't help at all.

Any Ideas?

Hello Mark,
Event ID 1024 does not exist in our database. I did a search on MS Technet and found some articles about it. I would suggest you go through them and try to resolve it. You definitely do not have any hardware issues as for as COMPAQ/HP is concerned.
