Stop 0x0000000a on DL360 G3

I have a DL360 G3 with Windows 2000, SP4. It has been rebooting randomly for the last few weeks. Insight Manager and the event viewer both show the following:

BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000000a (0x00000007, 0x0000001C,0x00000000,0x8042B747)

No references to anything else. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Cathy,

It could be anything, possibly a buggy driver. To eliminate any HP drivers update to the latest Windows 2000 Product Support Pack availavble at the following link.

Also apply the latest system BIOS if this doesn't resolve the issue, available from the same link.

Hi,

As per the support artical no 271955 from microsoft, this behavior can occur when the random-access memory (RAM) on your computer has become corrupt.

Brian is right about the updating the information and support pack for server. Try to use the server the server with minimum configuration and then keep it under observation running any kind of daignostics not going to help, unless we run it under continious loops.

Can be due to memory.

Warm Regards,

Thanks for the help folks! I have applied the latest HP Support Pack along with all the latest Microsoft patches as well. Now I just have to wait and see.

There is a new BIOS, released yesterday, that fixes a variety of blue screen errors.

I am having the same problem with an ML370G3 with Windows 2003. I have all of the latest MS patches and I applied the bios from 12/2003. I'll wait and see if that fixes it.
