Stop 0x000000D1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in HpCISSs2.sys
I am doing a scripted (Windows Server 2003 Standard) install on a DL380 G5.
When Windows loads, you see the 39 minute remaining screen. At this stage it blue screens and the error is:
"Stop 0x000000D1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in HpCISSs2.sys"
I used the package cp006299.exe.
This is my txtsetup.oem:
[Disks]

Re: Stop 0x000000D1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in HpCISSs2.sys
This problem might be related to this advisory, which affects the DL 380 G5 series:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&objectID=c00715130
Hope this helps!

Re: Stop 0x000000D1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in HpCISSs2.sys
I've already seen this advisory but this is not my error message. I got the following:
STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000014,0x00000006,0x00000000,0xF74D9F39)

Re: Stop 0x000000D1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in HpCISSs2.sys
If you've seen that article, then you've probably also seen the one recommending using a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP1 Slipstream CD (Document ID: c00715130), though I think that may pertain specifically to the P600 controller . Certain system rom versions earlier than August 2005 caused a similar bluescreen, except I think the stop error was a 0x0A or some such.

Re: Stop 0x000000D1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in HpCISSs2.sys
Did you tried to install the server with latest Smartstart (7.60, iso image here --> http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/25190.html), and with Windows 2003 SP1 install CD?
(just to be sure, do you really need the scripted install?)
Regards,
Attila

Re: Stop 0x000000D1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in HpCISSs2.sys
I'm able to install the server manually. I've made this with Smart Start 7.60 and Windows 2003 Standard.
For the unattend installation I use the latest drivers.
It's really unbelievable. I've never had this problems with other DL models.

I have the same problem. Which cp00xxxx.exe have you yoused for your solution?
If you want you can write a email in german to my business account: meierd[at]bell.ch
Maybe we can exchange some information about scriptet W2k3 installations on HP Proliant Servers.
