Storage for DL585

Greetings,

 

I have just acquired a couple of dl585 G2 server and am trying to figure out my storage options.

 

When I bought them I thought I could use 2.5" SATA drives ... when I looked up the specs it says that only 120GB sized SATA drives are supported. Is that correct?

 

I was thinking of using 500GB -- 1TB sized 2.5" SATA drives.

 

Thoughts?

Howdy,

you could check out the array controller in the server, and see what kind of drives it supports.
