storagework 4354 and smartarray5304 volume limitation
Hi,
I 've installed a system with 14 disks in a storagework 4354 connected to a smart array5304 in a ML370.
When I launch the volume creation to have an ADG (or RAID6) I cannot create a volume>1TB.
Is there a limitation with 5304?
thanks
Julien

Re: storagework 4354 and smartarray5304 volume limitation
Hello, there should be no such limitation as ADG on 5304 supports up to 54+2 configuration... what disk drives are You using? all of them the same size? You can get over 1TB in single enclosure with the new 146GB drives only... BR, Vladimir

Re: storagework 4354 and smartarray5304 volume limitation
Hello Vladimir,
Actually I use the newest 140GB HD. We succeeded to make this ADG work with 2TB using the wizard but there is no way using the manual configurator...perhaps a bug...
