Support Pack 7.6 not working as previous versions
When I have run Support Packs in the past, the window opens with the standard window with a right and left pane. Down the right pane, the drivers are listed with the installed version, the new version, etc. All automatically populated.
I have downloaded the 7.6 support pack and tried to run it on a few different models of Proliant G3 models. The right pane no longer populates with the drivers and versions.
After reading a bit, it sounds like you now have to drag and drop all the items in the left pane to the right pane. Is that the case? If so, that's going to make updating 65 servers manually impossibly too long.
I do have Insight Manager and have been looking into Version Control Repository, but I am not ready to use it (still reading on it). I also have some servers with some rather old agents that need to be brought up to 7.6. I will then deploy Version Control.
Is there some way to get that right pane to auto-populate like the previous versions used to?
Thank you.

Re: Support Pack 7.6 not working as previous versions
Hi Jon,
Items can be added to the target computer list using any of the following methods:
â ¢ Select a Support Pack from the Support Pack Selected for Installation toolbar to add all components in the Support Pack to the target computer list.
â ¢ Drag selected items or folders from the repository view tree and drop them in the target computer list. The items are added to the end of the list.
â ¢ Select an item or folder in the repository view tree, then press the Insert key. The item is added to the end of the list.
or
In the left panel Select the OS -> Software - Support Pack > Proliant Support Pack for windows 200x and drag and drop only the PSP to the right panel and it will automatically populate all the drivers and SW for the target server.
For more information check the guide:

Re: Support Pack 7.6 not working as previous versions
Mark this one as S.E.S. (Stupid Engineer Syndrom). I managed to download the Windows 2000 version of the Support pack and run it on a Windows 2003 server.
Bonehead move on my part.
