Supported Processor Steppings for G1 ML570

Does anyone know what are the supported stepping for a ML570 G1? I have a chance to pick up some PIII Xeon 900mhz/100mhz/2MB V5 processors at a good price. Before I pick them up, I would like to know if they are compatable.

Best place to check is with Intel. They carry a stepping compatibility chart. As I remember they are no incompatibilities anymore, that is all step codes can co-exist

I thought I read here in a post somewhere that the BOIS has certain step codes hardcoded. Is that true?
