Hi All, the whole SPP is a minefield and I cant quite get a definitive answer by searching HPE Support or the internet.
I was hoping some of our knowledgeable forum guru's could assist.
I appreciate these devices are all out of support, but one of my clients still has these running legacy apps...So we need to support them.
So far this is what I have come up with, but not sure its accurate so hoping someone could review who is possibly in the same situation and has discovered what actually works. At the moment I have no servers that I can test this on, so ideally would like some other peeps feedback to prepare me for when I do need to update Firmware/BIOS on one of these devices.
HP Proliant DL380 G5 - HP SPP 2014.06.0
HP Proliant DL380 G6 - HP SPP 2017.04.0
HP Proliant BL460c G1 - HP SPP 2014.06.0 or Firmware Update DVD 10.10
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance
John

SolutionThe Mentioned SPP is available in the HPE support center. But for the mentioned server, the SPP does not contain the latest BIOS and other firmware. We suggest using the separate firmware file to update the firmware to latest.

Re: Supported SPP for DL380 G5, DL380 G6 & BL460c G1 Blades
Hi, thanks for the response, I have that SPP...I will download the individual files and add them to my SPP USB key.
