System & Boot Partitions

System & Boot Partitions

We are running Windows NT Server 4.0. We want to separate the system and boot partitions in two partitions. For example, we want to have 500 MB system partition and 7 GB boot partition. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Jill,
is this during and NT install that you want to do this or post installation? if it is during installation with a smartstart cd it will prompt you with a slider during the install for the size of the system partition to install..if you are doing a manual NT install then you will have to specify when choosing the system partition the size you want that allocated to...it will come up during the install process...if this is post install then you will need some sort of third party software to do this such as partition magic..
