system board replacement

when you replace the system board will the new integrated smart controller automatically pick up the raid configuration of the drives or do you have to back up the configuration from the previous system board's integrated smart array controller,if so how?

It will pick it up Automatically. You might want to go in the BIOS and just save and exit so it has a chance to see all and also go into the Array Configuration Utility again just to let it see the array.
