TCP Offload issue
Hello,
I have an issue with the TCP Offload setting in the HP Teaming configuration utility. There seems to be an inconsistency with what options are available for the network team with regard to the Advanced settings under the Settings Tab for the TCP Offload Engine settings.
I have two servers on identical server hardware. They are ProLiant BL460c G1 with a HP NC373i network card. The NIC Card Driver is 4.1.3.0, HP Teaming Driver version is 9.10.0.0 and the PSP versions are version 8.
On one of the servers there is the option to tick "TCP Offload Engine" setting and the other server this does not appear.
Does anyone know why this might be the case?
My second question is that if the "TCP Offload Engine" setting is not ticked are the other Offload settings in the Advanced settings section turned off even if they have the enabled state?
Eg. If TCP Offload Engine is not ticket and Rx TCP Checksum Offload is ticked and Tx TCP Checksum Offload is ticked are these actually enabled? The settings here seem to be a little ambiguous.
Many thanks,
Ben.
