temporary boot via boot cd (if raid 5/6) and access windows partitions
Hello,
is this possible?
temporary boot via boot-live-cd and access windows partitions of the HyperV host.
ML350 Gen9, RAID 5/6, not ecrypted
Goal: get file copy of VHD VM File (just for one time backup)
Goal2: file copy, some files on C: of the HyperV host.
Problem: Windows Credentials for HyperV Host + VMs lost. << (I know that is possible to solve this)
Thx/BR

Re: temporary boot via boot cd (if raid 5/6) and access windows partitions
Hello,
That should be possible, assuming the logical drive on the array is in a good state and the live media can read the NTFS file system.

Re: temporary boot via boot cd (if raid 5/6) and access windows partitions
Greetings!
As previously stated, the feasibility exists provided that the volume remains unencrypted and in a healthy state.
