Terminal Server Load on DL 380
Hi,
I am trying to load a DL380 Server with WINNT 4.0 Terminal Server. The problem is that in order to configure the RAID partition, I must run Compaq Smart Start Ver 5.40. During this load, you are given the option to install your OS. WINNT 4.0 Terminal Server is not one of these options. Could anyone please offer some insight as to how to get around this.
Thanks

Re: Terminal Server Load on DL 380
Terminal Server isn't a supported option for an assisted install. All this should require is to boot off the NT Terminal Server CD, specify the driver for the controller by pressiing F6 and specify the nic driver. The support pack can be installed once the OS is up and running.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..
