Test of SPS-Console Switch AF652A 764366-001 (0x2016) SN: R0A51428G9

I have been tasked with testing the above unit and when i am folowing the 'HP KVM Server Console Switch G2 user Guide'. When i initially boot the unit, the OSD screen appears for about 10 seconds and thereafter, it changes to a window which just says 'Free'.

there is no mention of theis 'Free' windoe in the guide, can you advise as to what is causing this problem please?

Hi,

As per the part number, this is a HPE 0X2X16 G3 KVM CONSOLE SWITCH (AF652A).

Please refer to this user guide.  Refer to page 30-31

NOTE: No server is selected after the activation of the screen saver mode disconnects the user from a server. The status flag displays Free.
