Thomas

Take a look at this updated iLO driver:

Should resolve your problem.

Same solution as offered but a little more assurance. I'm still testing to confirm this but the results after one week look good. I've had a call open with HP for two weeks and they have blamed Microsoft and failed to find a solution through that channel.

i experienced the exact same scenario with a dl380 g3 and there is a fix for that driver in the latest version of support drivers, version 6.30a

Re: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. Bugcheck : 0x00000044

Could someone with HP tell us what is going on with the iLo driver? The link mentioned in this post was for version: 5.30.2195.1

Then later in June '03 there was another version 5.30.2195 B which was CP003670.exe at:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/18301.html

And now there is still another version 5.31.2195.0 which is CP003475.exe at:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/17742.html

It looks like this is the version of the month club. How critical are these updates?

Re: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. Bugcheck : 0x00000044

David, the 5.30.2195.1 B version was a critical update to the 5.30.2195.0 version of the driver that was a member of the Support Paqs version 6.30. Upgrading to that version of the driver was highly recommended if you were running the 5.30.2195.0 or earlier version of the driver, as it prevented the stop code 44 problem as described earlier in this thread.

The 5.31.2195.0 version is a member of the Support Paqs version 6.40. It contains the bug fix present in 5.30.2195.1 B, as well as other updates. As for how critical it is that you upgrade yet again, I'd recommend looking at the release notes on the page you've cited and deciding if the changes warrant the effort.
