My 4 Servers: DL360 2 X 800 P-III, 1.5 Gb RAM, 2X 9 Gb HD, WIN2000 Server ( 5.0.2195 + SP1 Build 2195).
The error in System event viewer is:

I'm seeing this error but it is on a dl 580 with a MSA 30 running windows 2003. The error is periodic. Has there been a solution to this?

This error can, according to Compaq, be safely disregarded.

Your system has an older, slower array controller (like the Compaq Integrated Smart Array controller, for example). Win 2K and 2K3 expect the driver to load faster than it's able to, so you get an error.

However, even tho it's slower than expected, Compaq says the driver DOES load and is perfectly functional.

The doc has issues you should expect when installing Win2K Server (we'll assume that also means 2K3), and this one is on the list. The rest of the doc makes interesting reading, as well.
