Transfert Proliant 360 Gen 9 to Gen10
Hello everyone.
I come to you to find some help. I have 2 HPE Proliant 360. One is a Gen 9 and the other is a Gen 10.
A windows 2012 r2 server has installed on Gen 9. I would like to transfer (OS and data) on my Gen 10.
I use Acronis Backup 11.7 to realize the transfer. On Acronis, we have a module "Acronis Universal Restore" to restore two differents machines with a different hardware. So, i save my Gen 9 with Acronis. It's an archive. I save drivers also present in :C/Windows/System32/Drivers.
After, i boot on my Gen 10 with acronis and i launch the restore with specified drivers. But during the restore, i have an error message : "We have not found PCI driver". I skip.
Finally, the Gen 10 boot on Windows but i have a blue screen with : INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE.
Can you help me please?
Regards,
Anakin.

Re: Transfert Proliant 360 Gen 9 to Gen10
Hello,
As per your query this is Windows issue or HPE SA controller driver issue.
I would follow the below Microsoft KB article.
Fix restart problems after you install update rollup 2919355 in Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-restart-problems-after-you-install-update-rollup-2919355-in-windows-8-1-or-windows-server-2012-r2-204bcc94-8581-31e1-b7c5-03c2c8a302aa
Follow the SA controller driver,if you are using any SA controller in your server.
