unable to clear the IML log via web interface

i could login, hp system management but im not able to clear the IML logs via web console(ILO2). My OS:RHEL5.5 and ILO2 version.

Please help me to sort out the issue

Have you tried to update the ILO2 firmware?

Do you mean the System Management Homepage or the iLO web user interface? They are 2 different things. If it's SMH you mean, that typically would be symptomatic of not having an SNMP rwcommunity statement for localhost in snmpd.conf.
