I'm testing two DL580 G2 servers with SmartStart diagnostic (7.40), and both of them give error on power supply #1.
Exact error looks to be: unable to find unprobed device powerslot0.
Both power supplies work fine. I can disconnect any of them and both servers continue to work without problems.
If I disconnect power cord or extract the power supply (for anyone of the two power supplies), the internal log registers any event, as well as the reconnected power cord or the reinserted power supply.
Swap of power supplies does not change the error.
So, should I bother about this error message?
What is the meaning?
Thanks,
Tonino
