Good Morning,
We do have a hp Proliant ML 350 G6 with current memory installed 20 GIG.
We want to be upgrade this memory to 32 GIG.
I read some of topics online regarding server memory upgrade, we need to know
unbuffered or registered RAM.
Could you tell me how we know our server currently wich type of RAM installed?
Any wrong, please forgive.
Best regards,

Solution
Hi,
You can check directly in your server management (ILO) if your current set-up is UDIMM or RDIMM config.
note:
If you want to upgrade memory, do not MIX Unbuffered memory (UDIMM's) with Registered memory (RDIMM's).
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Re: unbuffered or registered RAM
Hello
Thanks for your respnds Sir,
I got some infor from that HP.
It currently installed RAM with Register type!
I think that, The server is installed retail windows server OS and didn't see HP software installed there.
Do you know how can we monitor that server about CPU and RAM usage and when it reaches high usage, it will let us get any aleart to us. or do you know how can we access the CPU and RAM usage of that server through Web interface?
Best regards,
