upgrade memory in DL320s
I tried to set ones more memory module in the server DL320s 9Tb. But after installing the server does not boot and flashed a red LED on the front panel.
Memory like the same as the original - Kingston 1Gb PC2-5300 CL5 KVR667D2N5/1G

Re: upgrade memory in DL320s
According to the quickspecs it looks like you're supposed to be able to put the DIMMs in any of the slots.
Is the new DIMM exactly the same? I would assume that the original memory is an HP memory and not a Kingston (unsupported?)..
The text in your picture is unreadable.
You could try: another DIMM slots or swap the DIMMs around.
Does it for example work if you take out one of the existing ones and put this Kingston there?
Firmware / Clear NVRAM.
Sometimes there is some dirt in the DIMM socket which can cause problems, try to blow it out with some kind of good-for-electronics canned air.

Re: upgrade memory in DL320s
I tried to install in different slots, same result. I'll try the memory of another manufacturer.
Thank for reply.
