Upgrade to Windows 2000

We are currently running Windows NT Ver.4 on our Compaq Proliant 1600 6/400, and we wish to upgrade to Windows 2000.
According to the Microsoft Hardware Compatibility list my Compaq Proliant 1600 6/400 is not supported for Windows 2000.
However on the Compaq Web Site under this Server, it states that the supported Operating Systems do include Windows 2000.
Can someone please tell me the correct information regarding this server and Windows 2000.

Good Day Mike,
Your PL1600 is definitrely upgradeable to MS Windows 2000. Please make sure you flash system bios to the latest one, upg your Array controller's firmware. The pertinent W2K drivers can be obtained from the URL: http://www.compaq.com/support/files/server/us/locate/20_1126.html
