Upgrading to a P3
Is it possible to upgrade a 3000-P09 model (which currently has a P2-450) to a P3-850 (or dual P3-850).
The manuals and onsite say that it maximum supports a P2-600 but I see people talking about p2/p3 support!
If it is possible to add a P3 does it matter what stepping they have of do they have to be exactly the same?

Re: Upgrading to a P3
That's a PIII 600 - there never was a PII 600 CPU (the cut off was at 450MHz). They are supported, but you have to make sure the firmware is new enough and also do NOT attempt to use a PII AND a PII together (just not a good idea).
