USB-Boot not working - ProLiant DL360e Gen8

Hi there,

I'm currently trying to install Proxmox 7 on my ProLiant DL360e Gen8 server.
Although I configured USB boot and set the server to boot from the internal SD card slot, the boot process does not work.
I've tried the internal and external USB ports as well. All unsuccessful.

I've tried everything I can think of. I wrote the image to the USB stick or SD card via Balena Etcher, ISOtoUSB, Ventoy and Rufus. None of it worked.

Does anyone have any idea what else I can do? I also tried it again with Windows Server, again without success. Windows server was already running on the machine.

Thank you. I have already seen this Help-Page, but it doenst solve my problem.

But I have one question, what is the difference between "USB-Key" and "USB-Optical Drive".

I just gave my iso to rufus and then plugged it in.
