Using A100 GPU for HPE DL380a Gen 12 - P74461-B21

Dear Community,

I am recommending the HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen12 with Dual 144 Core Server package ( Client requirement )  server (P74461-B21) to a client and initially suggested the NVIDIA H100 NVL 94GB GPU accelerator. However, due to budget considerations, I am exploring whether the NVIDIA A100 80GB GPU could be a viable alternative.

As of now, I have not found any official documentation confirming support for the A100 GPU with this server. Has anyone in the community successfully deployed an NVIDIA A100 80GB with the HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen12? If so, are there any specific considerations or compatibility issues to be aware of?

I appreciate any insights or experiences you can share.

HPE recommend to install the GPUs that are mentioned in quickspecs or product bulletin. 
* A100 is not supported on DL380a Gen12 server.  Please refer this document.
* Following are the GPUs supported by DL380a Gen12 Server. You can procure which is affordable.  Refer Quickspecs (Page no.18)
   H200 NVL 141GB PCIe Accelerator for HPE (S3U30C)
   NVIDIA H100 NVL 94GB PCIe Accelerator for HPE (S2D86C)
   NVIDIA L40S 48GB PCIe Accelerator (S2L70C)
  NVIDIA L20 48GB PCIe GPU Accelerator for HPE (S4A92C)
