Utilities for viewing iLO information remotely from Linux
Are there any HP utilities similar to hplog or hpasmcli that allow me to check iLO information on a remote host. I'd like to be able to script a method for retrieving the iLO information daily from a Linux host so I can parse the output and alert me of any changes. So far the closest I've gotten is to ssh into the remote iLO and use the "show" commands, but that's a very cumbersome way to get the information. I tried using the ipmitool but had to give up on that because the information it reports is not reliable (i.e. showing no drive faults when there was one).
Thanks.

Re: Utilities for viewing iLO information remotely from Linux
hi
you can use cpqlocfg.exe
it is well documented in the ilo cli user guide
however the output is in xml
use the ilo sample scripts - you might find a perfect script for your purpose
best regards
