Weird Logon Screen
Proliant 3000 dual PIII500 CPU Running NT4 SP6. At log on the NT logon screen alternates between the Ctrl+Alt+Del
screen and the actual Username, Password screen.
The server was connected to a switch, it has been removed from this and now has a new keyboard and mouse attached.

this sounds like software glitches...try reinstalling the OS over top of the existing os..that way your data remains intact
