What services are needed?
I'm setting up a ML570 as a database server. The following are CP services running as a result of different Compaq SW packs installed:
Cq Foundation Agents
Cq Nic agents
Cq Power management agent (I need this)
Cq Power management web agent
Cq Remote monitor service
Cq Server agents (for CIM?)
Cq Storage agents
Cq System shutdown service
Cq Web agent
I'd like to find out what services are essential to keep and eliminate the rest to conserve resources. I basically need CPM and a CIM server agent. I'll be managing the server from the console, no remote admin needed. Any help is appreciated.

Re: What services are needed?
well... if you'll manage the server using the proper console.. I think you don't need much more than a monitor.... don't install web server agents, for example. right?
