Wrong pinout DL380 G7 10pin PCIe Power Cable
Hello,
I recently checked the voltage of the two 10pin backplane power suplly, on the motherboard of my Proliant G7.
Suprisingly, the pinout is abseloutely not the same as the one represented here : https://community.hpe.com/t5/ProLiant-Servers-ML-DL-SL/Pinout-for-DL580-10pin-PCIe-Power-Cable/m-p/6992314/highlight/true#M160311
Moreover, the pinout isn't even the same for the two differents outlet, in fact, on of them doesn't even have 12V pins witch lead to the backplane being unable to read some of the hard drives if connected to it.
What can cause such issues ?
Best Regards,
Antoine

Re: Wrong pinout DL380 G7 10pin PCIe Power Cable
Hi ,
This will need investigation and hence i suggest you log a formal case with HPE and share all the details along with pic of the pins you are refering to so that it can be investigated.
Regards
