Xenserver 6.2 on ProLiant ML310e Gen8 v2
We want to install Xenserver 6.2 on a new cheap ProLiant ML310e Gen8 v2.
The Xenserver install software cannot see the harddisk of the ProLiant.
Anybody with a solution or driver for this problem ?
(I can see, that it is supposed to work with VMWare, but we are used to Xenserver, and the idea of a cheap server and a expensive hypervisor does not go well together.
but did not get it working.)

Re: Xenserver 6.2 on ProLiant ML310e Gen8 v2
I have similar problem with ProLiant ML310e Gen8. I tried install XenServer 6.x but unsucseful.
Installation go smooth, however after restart server freeze.
Anyone know what to do and how configure server BIOS for XenServer or is it possible even install XenServer on ProLiant ML310e?

Re: Xenserver 6.2 on ProLiant ML310e Gen8 v2
I got XenServer 6.2 installed in a later attempt without really knowing how it succeeded.
Waited a couple of months (probably not the solution in it self).
I made some changes in BIOS sata controllers ACHI etc. value.
Installed "Creedence", the Xenserver 6.5 beta. Found to my surprise it could boot several times.
Installed XenServer 6.2. Found to my surprise it could boot several times. Upgraded wit hotfixes and servicepack including several reboots.

Is your installation up and running on your Proliant server?
I am considering installing it on my Proliant ML310e Gen8 v2.

I'm trying to do the same and get it running on a v2 - other than changing to legacy mode what else did you do?
