Adding more Harddrive to RS12

I have a situation that our company has a Novell server on a HP LPR using half a rs12 with 5 9GB drives in a RAID 5 configuration. We are running out of space in this configuration. Is there a way to install larger drives in this cage and maintain the RAID and data configuration without having to rebuild everything. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Adding more Harddrive to RS12

you can ad drives and expand your actual raid with same hdd, or you can create a new raid with new bigger hdd.You will found a new logical disk available

Which NetRAID card is installed? Depending on the NetRAID controller, you can add at least 8 physical drives to one RAID array. This is assuming the RAID 5 was configured as a single logical drive. Otherwise, like the previous reply, you can create a new RAID array (another RAID 5, for instance). What size drives are you looking for?
