API for P1218A

HI,

while searching for remote management solutions for our Linux Cluster [1] we put attention to the TopTools Remote Control Card v. 2.0.

While the integrated management solution is very unusable for a 528 node cluster, I'm searching for an API to this product.

Unfortunately I did not found any hints for such a library.

Is there any chance to implement an own management UI building on such an API or do we have to search for other hardware solutions??

I ran into the same problem.

After investigating the protocol, I was able to talk with members of the TTRC software engineering team, but they did not want to provide the remaining information I needed to write my own script to drive the remote-management.

PowerEdge::RAC uses a similar protocol and might be adaptable to the TTRCs.
