configuring the smart array 221 from boot
This is driving me nuts.
I have a compaq server with a smart array 221 controller in it.
I need to get a utility to configure this controller on BOOT, I need a floopy disk which will allow me to boot into dos and configure my drive thru a dos based application.
I have got smart server 4.4 which does not support the controller, I also have 7.10 which does not support my hardware.
I have the 4 disk configuration software for my machine but not the configuration util for the array controller.
I have tried many, many, many different softpaqs, I have search on here for advice and find nothing which works.
Please, can somebody direct me to the setup util for smart array 221 controller which runs from DOS please.
Thanks in advance and I hope this works before I have no hair left.

Re: configuring the smart array 221 from boot
Os for controller configuration shouldnâ t matter (except settings for O/s from system Partition)
You need make sure that you have F10 and launch ACU (SP19619 used for Install F10), ACU SP6263.
Not sure if you used boot from SCU Diskettes from bootable media and launch Array config Util. And Update your cache
