Connecting GbE2 and/or GbE to Nortel Passport 8600 and Teaming

1.Dose any one has experience with connecting GbE or GbE2 with dual link to 2 Nortel Passports 8600 that run IST-MLT
The connection is one from each GbE to the passport (port 17/18 are disabled)
The traffic on both links.
Dose the GbE/GbE2 support IST-MLT instead of STP to avoid loops.

2.On Teaming what is the MAC address that the port generate is it unicast? or multicast?
