DL 380 G3 with fan full speed on power-on and Windows start

I have 60 Serves DL 380 G3 with fan full speed on power-on and Windows start. I know this server have hardware-based fan control.
What can I do? The server is very racket.

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I believe there is some utility that we must run from within Windows?

I have read in other threads here that a bios rom upgrade should do it, but I tried it today without any success so far. More detailed help from compaq would be nice.
