Does HPE GEN10 PLUS support Thunderbolt 3 PCIe card?
Dear all, I want to connect my Thinkpad and HPE GEN10 PLUS with the thunderbolt 3 cable to grab a 20Gbps LAN speed. But I am not sure if HPE GEN10 PLUS supports a Thunderbolt 3 PCIe card?
As you know, latops usually get 1Gbps network on board. Thunderbolt 3 can get 20/40Gbps high speed connection. If I connect latops and HPE GEN10 PLUS with the thunderbolt 3 cable, I can grab a higher network speed much more than 1Gbps.
So far, I know that DELL has the lowprofile Thunderbolt 3 PCIe card.

Re: Does HPE GEN10 PLUS support Thunderbolt 3 PCIe card?
Depends on the form factor of the card and software drivers, but the actual speed of the PCIe slot on the GEN10 plus should support it, IIRC it's PCIe3 x16.

Hi KevinSpringPM, thank you for your response.
In fact, I was asking about HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 Plus. Not HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Plus Server.
