Dual Monitor or Multi Monitor with Pci cards

I really need to use dual monitor in a Proliant ML370 (G1) my problem is that when i plug the pci cards (S3 Virge) to the server only one works ... the rest appears in the control panel (win2k) as non working, At the moment i just manage to have one card working , imposible to use several like in a normal pc . Can anyone confirm me that these servers support multimonitor functions and how ???

also many "normal" pc's dont support multiple video-cards.
In that case the solution may be to use a "multi-headed" vga-card.

I like Pieter's suggestion better than what I'm about to propose, but considering that it appears that you already own the S3 Virge PCI cards...

Have you considered putting each S3 Virge PCI card on a separate PCI bus? Often the PCI bus divisions are stated on a sticker on the chassis cover or in the QuickSpec's.

Re: Dual Monitor or Multi Monitor with Pci cards

I have tested 3 different cards and in almost all pci slots ... no success till now .
I think i could use the option of buying a new card , with 2 vga conectors , ... but this is a bit dificult as pci video cards are out of the normal market since agp appeared in the market . Any suggestion of a card and where to buy it ??
